Following the launch of NAA’s latest monograph ‘Contact, Concord and Conquest: Britons and Romans at Scotch Corner’, the company’s in-house archaeological illustrator presented a series of workshops on Instagram about how illustrations in the publication were produced.

The following video is a collection of all the workshops and it explains some of the basics of archaeological illustration: from drawing pottery to stipple shading Roman trumpet brooches.
