Gradiometer survey is the most commonly used geophysics survey technique in commercial British archaeology, and handheld Bartington Grad 601-1  instruments are one of the most commonly used pieces of equipment to collect gradiometer survey data sets. NAA’s geophysics team have racked up hundreds of hectares of gradiometer survey over the years, always strive to collect great data sets, produce informed interpretations and pride themselves on the excellent reports they disseminate. In the following video our geophysics survey manager is going to take you through the archaeoprocess of a grid of gradiometer survey.
