advising, processing, sorting, interpreting, reporting
The remains of plants and animals recovered from soil samples taken from archaeological excavations tell us about past diet, livestock husbandry and crop cultivation, and help us understand the environmental conditions and habitats that people once lived in. We haveĀ a large, dedicated soil sample processing facility with full-time technicians and zooarchaeology and palaeobotany experts. We offer a service to other archaeological companies to advise on site sampling strategies and to process and report on environmental soil samples.
